All team members go through extensive initial training, with opportunities to learn and advance through ongoing training. Our team of instructors consists of dedicated specialists in all areas: early childhood education, special education, speech pathology, literature, art and music. All educators support a hands on approach with an emphasis on loving, learning, and laughing.
Ms. Leah is the founder and director of Bunny Hill. She has rich early childhood education experience and is fiercely dedicated to the success of every student. Her international background from China and Korea made her believe in bilingualism and equipped her to help young children thrive and achieve global success.
Ms. Christina is the Director in Bunny Hill LIC. Prior to joining Bunny Hill, she has been an Educational Director at a private early childhood development center for over 4.5 years on the lower east side of Manhattan. She is recently co-authoring a paper for publication with Dr. Sorbel Genao on the reflective experiences of a leader in the making. After being certified for Early Childhood Education, she is pursuing NYS certification in School District Leader. Her experience in working with children over the years led her to a path where patience, motivation, and support are essential in providing a concrete educational foundation to build upon.
Ms. Megan is the Director of Bunny Hill Infant and Toddler Center in LIC. With a Bachelor’s degree in music and a Master’s in educational psychology, Megan has experience as an early childhood teacher, classroom and choral music teacher, and elementary school principal. In 2017, Megan participated in an international study group with the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, she is committed to elevating the practices of early childhood education with the Bunny Hill community as well as at home with her own two children.
