Bunny Hill Daycare and Preschool provides a warm environment filled with nurture and compassion towards our students and their families. We realize that for many of our students, it is their first time away from their parents and caregivers. At Bunny Hill, we offer a safe and stimulating environment to enable students to learn and feel comfortable in their new setting. The goal is to produce a home away from home feel which includes daily communication from your child’s teachers/administrators and establishing strong relationships with your child and family. This time in your child’s life is an integral point to build on the foundation of their prior knowledge. This includes their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Our educational philosophy is discovery based and child centered. Each child is given individual attention to allow us to learn their interests and needs. Children are guided by their teachers to explore, create and use their imagination. We believe in teaching with various techniques to cater to all learning styles and celebrate the diverse backgrounds of our students.

Our Approach
The Reggio Emilia Approach® is an educational philosophy based on the image of a child with strong potentialities for development and a subject with rights, who learns through the hundred languages belonging to all human beings, and grows in relations with others. At BunnyHill, classroom curriculum is built upon the interests of the children and the observations of the teachers. Children and teachers explore content in meaningful ways, through multiple representations. Varied presentations and expressive media afford all children the opportunity to understand and connect with the themes and content. The classroom environment is viewed as the third teacher, supporting student learning and adapting to meet the needs of our learners. BunnyHill is a community, committed to providing the highest quality learning experiences and encounters for our children, teachers, and parents.
