Our Middle States
Accreditation Journey
Bunny Hill Preschools & GVS Are Pursuing Middle States Accreditation
Bunny Hill Preschools, together with our sister school, Gantry View School (GVS), is proud to be currently engaged in the accreditation process with the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS).
Accreditation is a voluntary and comprehensive process that provides schools with an opportunity to examine the quality and effectiveness of their programs, policies, leadership, teaching and learning, student well-being, and school operations. Through this process, our schools are reflecting on what we do well, identifying opportunities for continued growth, and developing plans to strengthen our programs for the future.
Our Accreditation Process
Over the past year, our leadership team, educators, staff, and school community have participated in an extensive self-study process, reviewing our practices, policies, programs, and operations against Middle States standards.
This process examines key areas of school quality, including:
-
Mission and educational philosophy
-
Governance and leadership
-
Teaching, curriculum, and student learning
-
Student well-being, health, safety, and child protection
-
Faculty and staff qualifications and professional development
-
Student services, activities, and enrichment
-
Family and community engagement
-
Facilities, resources, technology, and school operations
-
Continuous school improvement and planning for future growth
The self-study is more than a compliance exercise. It gives our school community an opportunity to reflect collaboratively on our strengths and establish meaningful priorities for continued improvement.
November 2026 Middle States Visit
An important next step in our accreditation journey will take place in November 2026, when Bunny Hill and GVS will undergo a Middle States accreditation visit.
During the visit, the Middle States evaluation team will have the opportunity to experience our schools firsthand. The process is expected to include campus visits, classroom observations, review of documentation, and interviews and conversations with members of our school community, including school leadership, faculty and staff, families, and other stakeholders.
The visiting team will evaluate the schools’ programs and practices and consider how the evidence gathered during the visit aligns with our self-study and Middle States accreditation standards.
A Community Effort
Our accreditation journey involves our entire school community. Administrators, teachers, staff, and families all play an important role in helping us reflect on who we are as schools and where we want to go next.
We are grateful to our Bunny Hill and GVS families and staff for their participation, feedback, and continued support throughout this process.
We look forward to welcoming the Middle States visiting team in November 2026 and sharing the learning environments, relationships, programs, and community that make Bunny Hill and GVS special.
Looking Ahead
Pursuing Middle States accreditation reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, and high-quality education and care. Regardless of where we are in the accreditation process, our goal remains the same: to continue learning, reflecting, and improving so that every child is supported in a safe, engaging, nurturing, and meaningful educational environment.
We look forward to sharing updates with our community as we continue through the accreditation process.
